A large portion of work that I did was art directing, approving and resculpting outsourced 3D models. While not the only hat I wore, it was the largest part of my early work once I was brought onto the project. The art style had been laid out by the Art Director before I joined and a number of models had been pushed through. My role was making sure the high poly models matched the approved concept art and the low poly models worked for our needs. Anywhere from 3 to 12 outsourced models would come in for approvals daily.
